WE MADE IT

We all are heroes. It is just that some of us are yet to realize it because we stood when standing was not easy, we smiled when smiling was not the best option and we won when the odds were against us.

How do you do? 

I hope that we are sterilized, homogeneous and hygienic? Ok, that is Microbiology for you!

I wish us victory in our endeavours seeing that we have gone on to prosper. Nothing has changed; it is just that the whole world has become our classroom since that we still study life and that has saddled us with much responsibilities because there are different forms of it. 

I am not shocked to know that most of us are doing well in fields that are not ours. Be it the banking world, the spiritual world and even the painting, teaching and programming worlds as much as in the construction industry to say but the least because we are ubiquitous and that gives us strength rather than weakness. In our everyday lives, when we go out to encounter people from other walks of life, we must not fail to show forth the experiences that we have gathered over the years because we are made of the best stuff. 

When Mr. O. I. Udemezue once said that the world is not always a bed of roses; I knew that he was not lying. When on that day, Mr. Ugochukwu Okafor said that we must not lie with reckless abandon, I knew that it was altogether true because in his words, he said, "To avoid telling lies, one must learn to say the whole truth out of one's personal volition." In fact, to make it more plainly, he says, "out of one's personal Obi A dimma." Which is an Igbo parlance by the way and out of my own personal volition, out of my personal Obi A di mma (like he used to say,) I have come to give us a piece of me. 

When I said that we are like a single drop of water in the body of an ocean, I knew that I was not lying because I figured out that if we could learn to stick together, one to another, then the other portions of the ocean would learn to stick with us. Experience is the best teacher. So, I will not forget any of our Lecturers who taught us richly with their years of experiences in handling Microbiological issues. Be it theoretical or practical. 

Ladies and gentlemen, I am Imiano as you all know but I am not here to talk about myself only. So, I will not forget to mention the fact that you are superb and to God who crowns our efforts with victory be all the praises. 

OF ALL DAYS..

Choose to become successful today because I have chosen to write to you if not for anything, for the fact that I love you, I shall always say the truth. Success is yours. Just step out and take it. Nobody can say what's happening outside by being inside except when the person is looking through the window. 

Why look through the window when the door is open for you? Just hold the bull by its horns. Step out of your comfort zone and do the necessary things. 

Being agile is one of them because it is better than to be fragile. Do not be easily broken down. Don't show emotional weakness all the time because it can serve as a loophole to malicious invaders. 

Stand your ground when the need is there. I tell you, nobody can push you into failure except yourself. So, don't take bad suggestions because you are the only one that would bear the consequences if the results appear badly. 

Never think that all is well when nothing is working fine. Do not deserve yourself when you should be working out things. Let us be serious, Nigeria is not a place to laugh anyhow. We face enormous challenges on daily basis. Ranging from dodging stray bullets to avoiding fake news, staying upright in the midst of tribulations to avoiding fake friends. 

All this things are not peculiar to Nigeria but we must bear the blunt of it! 

WHO YOU ARE

Cancel everything appointment that you have with your past and face the  present with zeal. I cannot tell you who you are but you know yourself better than I do and it all boils down to what you are doing now. 

What the world would remember you for is who you are now. If you do not want to be remembered as  somebody who broke into people's homes to steal, then cut off the habit of stealing now. 

Nobody will address you as who you are not and nobody can mistake you for somebody else if you are where you should be and doing what you should be doing. I have never seen a president being addressed as a chef nor a cook being addressed as a barber. You are who you are. Nobody can address you as who you are not even though it can happen mistakenly (which should be corrected by the way)

The name that your mother called you as at the time that you born could still be the name that you bear as at this time but the height you can get to can only be determined by you, if you choose to. 

It is still the same you (nothing has changed). 

The only things you can change about yourself are those things that you do not like about yourself. You might not like the fact that people call you all manner of names that you are not happy about but the best you can do is to avoid fight but work diligently and acquire a good status for yourself. 

Do not think that people hate you because they see something bad in you. No, they do that because they simply can't help it. So also it is when people decide to love you. It is for no just cause. I mean, you don't pay anybody to love you, do you ? Of course, no. It is natural. Just find the right kind of people and associate with them. 

Hate comes in when there are too much envy and unhealthy competitions. Love comes in when there is a common goal to be pursued. Work with zeal. Do not chase shadows. 

What belongs to you comes to you when it should. Don't blame anybody for delays. Just work it out. You can figure out the fastest way to solve a problem, then sell it to people. If it is genuine, then you don't need to spend money on much adverts. 

I AM SERIOUS

YOU HAVE NOW..

In life, there is no place for weakness. No condition is permanent, so they say and it is true. You cannot remain a toddler forever, you cannot remain a pauper forever and you can't just continue begging.

Become better than you are now. There is always a way out. If you are not yet sure about which path to take, just sit down and ask yourself certain questions. Questions like, "Where am I heading to in life?", "How did I get here?" And " Is this the best that I can do for myself?" Can trigger the right response and give you the direction that you need in order to step further in life. 

There is no need regretting everything that has happened in your life before. All you have is now. Do not waste it. 

COUNT YOURSELF OUT

  How far you get in life can be determined by how well you behave today. Forget about motivational speaking, we must tell you the truth and that is what I am doing.  At least, you did not pay me to pen down these words. I am only doing it to help mankind because what I tell you is what I tell myself too.

Character matters. Forget about what they might have told you previously, what I am telling you is what matters. They might have told you that money stops nonsense; it is true but money is not everything. At least, money does not give life, instead it helps to restore health. God is the Ultimate Giver of Life.

What they might have told you is their own business, what I am telling you now is ours. So, let's face it. Poverty is not good for you. If anybody says otherwise, count yourself out. You cannot be a generational curse to your lineage by being a poor fellow. I mean, that garment of abject poverty is not good on you.

There is something you can do to become a better person. There is something you can see to become a new you and there is someone you can talk to to feel motivated. 

Know your boundary, then stay put. There is no point arguing over this. Everybody deserves his or her daily bread. So, work for yours. Nobody is meant to be poor except the person that is lazy.  The path that you taking today has been toed by many at some points in time. If you become a Programmer today, you are not the first. If you become a Blogger today, you are not the first. In fact, you cannot even be the last. So, what is the pride all about? 

What I am saying in essence is this; find something that you are passionate about, be the best in that field and train others but do not let pride to pull you down because your attitude is what determines your altitude in life. 

ANTICIPATE CHINMARK PARADISE

 If you see yourself swimming in a dream, it is bad. In fact, it can even be a means of being initiated into the Marine kingdom. So, it should be treated with utmost care but if you see yourself swimming in that swimming  pool located in chinmark paradise at Thinkers corner layout of Enugu state, do not worry. You are in safe hands. In fact, it means that you're truly in a paradise ! 

The chinark group is an embodiment of expertise but the paradise in question is something to expect. It is worth the waiting because it is a place of good relaxation with excellent gadgets that make life easy and accomplishment of tasks seamless. It is one of a kind ! 

Situated in a serene environment, conducive for business and well disposed for achieving peace of mind, one cannot help but be wowed at the thorough design, magnificence and creativity that has being put together following the urge to beat the status quo  in the hospitality industry. 

Today, capable hands are sought out by the management to fill the available positions to set the dice rolling but tomorrow it would be a place to be !

ALWAYS STAY AWESOME

You cannot afford not to do so. Since nobody knows tomorrow, it is good to grace your day with new attires of smile ! 

Worries do not put food on anyone's table. Instead of being worried, think. In that way, you can solve problems rather than create anxiety. Anxiety is one of the ingredients for creating depression. Slow down when you do not know which way to take, ask question and move on if you get the right answers. 

Staying up late at night to watch cartoon is not a problem but having to swap your meal time in the morning just to make it early to work is where the bone of contention lies. Play a role in making the world a better place, say the truth when it is needed and staying away from begging when asking is required. 

Someone somewhere must have heard about you but meeting with the person is not as a matter of chance. Make a conscious effort towards meeting new people especially those who can better your life. 

Networking serves a huge part in everybody's success story but networking with the right set of people is the key to success. 

Do not neglect what is expected of you. Where you're not sure about that, ask for a way out. 

SETTING OUT WELL

In the world of building technology, there is what is called setting out. It involves putting the actual building plan on ground. That is, transferring what has been drawn on a paper to the surface of the earth with the aid of certain instruments, personnels and resources. 

The truth is that there might be several types of setting out or at least three but the point to be noted here is that if a building is to stand then there is no need leaving the idea on a paper form. Even in computer technology, there is something called a hard copy. 

Now, where this post is driving at is simple. Some of us have big business ideas, some of us are done with education by way of graduation and some of us are done with the street by way of frustration or being too excited but the ideal thing is to start off well. I believe that it is possible, early signs of failed businesses is not the end of one's life. Endeavour to go forward. 

In reality, there is something called foundation. Endeavour to put yourself together and come up with ideas that can change the world positively but be ready to change if the idea requires you to be flexible even though you might be resolute on your stance. 

For a car to move, there must be fuel in it. Push on with the little strength in up and double up on your way !  

SHOP FOR IDEAS

When you are down on your back, when you are feeling down and when it seems that you have exhausted your time, remember that you still have a long way to go. 

Think with a clear mind, develop a positive mindset and stick to it. Nobody came into this world to lose, you cannot break the rules. 

Fix your eyes on what you want to achieve but do not take your soul's health for granted. Today, we think of tomorrow as our future yet this is the same future we once thought about yesterday. Every moment presents us with the opportunity to repent, step up or restitute but in all, we only have now. 

I do not encourage anyone to be lazy because I know that working for oneself is good. That is how most giants in the tech industry started. Even though you might need more capable hands, it is good to filter the good from the bad and assign it to yourself as a task to keep getting better until you become the best in your line of business. 

Do not take everybody's word for granted but find the ones that inspire you and stick to them. The bad ones, discard. 

STAYING ON TRACK

 Many a time, we wonder if everybody is better than us simply because we have tried out somethings and failed at them but it is not a strange feeling the only tragic end is if the victim fails to try again. 

There is no journey without distance, there is no success without obstacle and there is no movement without energy. Buckle up and know what you want, someone has been there before. 

To be afraid of failure is to be afraid of trying new things, to be afraid of pointing out errors is to not know how to fix them and to be afraid of your own shadow is to be a dishonest person. Follow who know road but never lose sight of who you are except if it is required of you. Today, a lot of people are in the market looking for what to by, such is life. 

You can ransack your brain, the internet or the whole world looking for ideas that work but one thing is certain: money is required. 

For one to succeed in life, one must know where one is facing, know what is required of one and then give it. You are not the one to quit; you're the one to win !
